I use to work as a bus monitor for the San Diego City Schools District. Monday through Friday I would go to work at 5:45 a.m. to start a five hour shift. When we were on our way to a stop, or if there wasn’t any kids on the bus, I would fall asleep - I got in trouble for that a couple of times; I think my bus driver would snitch on me. I tried to stay awake but it was hard. However, the kids always kept it interesting when I was awake. My shift would end around 11 and I would usually stop by my moms.
